The Production Manager is responsible to Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the production operations of a manufacturing department to ensure quality and maximize efficiency

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, motivate and manage all subordinate staff
• Generate strategies and implement tactics to achieve performance measures
• Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
• Liaising among all departments to form positive and effective working relationships
• Responsible to ensure products are built on time and production schedules are met
• Proficient understanding of bill of materials; review bills of material as needed and submit changes as needed
• Prepare proposals for new, more efficient, production layout design, workflow and organization of material flow through the plant
• Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget

Qualifications:

• Experienced and comfortable in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge to improve process and make recommendations
• Strong Delegator with great interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working under pressure
