London Hospital Linen Service is looking for an Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor to join our team! Our organization specializes in providing centralized laundry services for the health care industry. We offer a state-of-the-art facility with unique technology, which includes our sophisticated database management. The organization operates 352 days per year on a continuous basis to meet the needs of the health care industry. The team is composed of approximately 150 long term members.
Due to an upcoming retirement, we are eager to hire our next successful Production Supervisor!

About the Position
The Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor will provide direction to plant wide (all) departmental team members to achieve production goals of linen products that meet quality and delivery deadlines, as specified by our customers. The Supervisor will lead a highly motivated team and ensure the safety and welfare of all team members.
Key accountabilities include: safety, team member training, environmental controls, quality of products, and cost controls. This supervisor will be trained on all shifts in order to provide coverage if required to other Production Supervisor’s team members.

Hours of Work and Compensation:
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to Midnight, rotational weekend every 8 weeks

About the Position
The Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor will provide direction to plant wide (all) departmental team members to achieve production goals of linen products that meet quality and delivery deadlines, as specified by our customers. The Supervisor will lead a highly motivated team and ensure the safety and welfare of all team members.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a Post-Secondary School Diploma or some Post-Secondary education in any discipline (required)
- 2+ years working experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Have the ability to understand how people work with machines, and work together with others, to get the job done in a multiple collective agreement environment
- Have a demonstrated ability of using proven steps which support a commitment to continuously learn and engage in educational development
- Have effective leadership training and use it to develop such skills
- Have excellent organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task
- Use strong problem-solving skills to ensure production efficiencies are achieved
