Job Description

Located in the beautiful town of St. Marys, Forster Pharmacy has been a trusted name in pharmacy care for over thirty five years. In addition we offer our customers top brand beauty supplies, cosmetics, personal care and other daily living products.
 
We are looking to add a Front Shop Manager to our team. In this role you will be accountable for all non-pharmacy operational requirements. The Front Shop Manager is responsible to establish and maintain superior professional standards in the areas of:
 
  • retail sales, reports analysis and management of margins and profit for non-pharmacy items to meet expected targets
  • customer service to result in an experience that exceeds customer expectation
  • human resources management and development
  • inventory management ensuring stock levels are appropriate to the needs of the store
  • marketing and effective merchandise displays to maximize sales
  • proper utilization of the POS system
 
To qualify as a preferred candidate you must possess the following qualifications:
  • 2 to 5 years retail management experience
  • experience with McKesson system would be preferred
  • college diploma in business or marketing would be an asset
  • excellent customer service skills
  • great sense of urgency and accountability, results oriented with strong execution skills
  • possess a “can do” positive attitude with a willingness to take on and complete every required task to ensure the front shop is clean, fully stocked and running smoothly
  • proven supervisory, leadership and team-building skills
  • excellent problem solving skills and ability to use independent judgment
  • solid time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment while paying close attention to details
  • willingness and ability to work with limited assistance or supervision
  • above average communication skills to connect with customers, employees and management
