PRODUCT PROMOTER

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, our Product Promoter will support Behlen Industries and Westman Steel growth by promoting Behlen and Westman Steel products to new general contractors and architectural offices in the Ontario region.   In this role, you will proactively contact general contractors, write weekly reports, research and organize promotional events.  

This role requires:  

• Completion of Bachelor of Architecture (Combination of Bachelor of architecture and sales/marketing diploma or experience is consider an asset)
• Experience in construction environment/general contractor is strongly preferred. Sales and Marketing experience is also desirable.
• Visit potential General Contractors weekly in order to grow and strengthen our impact in the Ontario market is an important duty for this job.
• Support the Regional sales manager on organizing events, such as lunch and learns and presentations with Architects and General Contractors will be required.
• Generate and transfer sales lead to the Regional sales manager (RSM) is expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a requirement.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and solve production problems.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful problem solver.
• Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapt to change and work under pressure
