Express Employment Professionals Specialized Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a state of the art CNC Manufacturing facility for a Master Scheduler Manufacturing Engineer. The candidate manages the day-to-day production workflow and ensure that all steps of the Computerized Numerical Control process from blueprint to completion are captured for unique builds.

Extensive CNC experience is a MUST for this role.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain daily production schedule
• Plan, prepare, issue and control schedules and coordinate with CNC programming and purchasing to ensure a controlled flow of programs and materials to meet delivery requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day work flow and trafficking for all phases of each project and ensure communication with all lead hands so that deadlines are maintained.
• Provide solutions to planned scheduling conflicts immediately.
• Provide alternative scheduling for conflicts that arise.
• Ensure scheduling deadlines are met
• Work with project managers to assess progress and discuss needed changes with scheduling.
• Collaborate with departments involved and lead necessary meetings if the plan must be changed

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field
• Minimum 10 years hands on machining experience
• Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy and people management skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of best practices in manufacturing environment.
