Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is new company starting a manufacturing facility in Brantford and we require an Electrical Technician to join our team!  There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing ecofriendly vehicles market.  At the same time, we realize that we may have to face obstacles in the process of growing our business in Canada.  We are looking for a person who exhibits enthusiasm in our dreams and would like to help us reach our long term goals.  As a company we would like a person who can grow with us and be an important asset for many years to come. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Facility maintenance, including the electrical, heating and cooling system
• Confer with engineers and customers to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to designed and equipment specifications and    compliance with operational and safety standard
• Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and within budget
• Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience with ISO based quality systems preferred but not mandatory
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
