Maintenance Technician - Midnight Shift
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Maintenance Technician for a fun and exciting company in the Food and Beverage industry in London, ON. This is a permanent career opportunity for a candidate with troubleshooting skills and strong knowledge of food manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement including downtime and line efficiency monitoring and cost savings
- Diagnose, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment, and fixtures
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
- Design, perform and maintain preventative maintenance system plan
- Perform analysis of deviations in all critical machines
- Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance records
- Conduct safety compliance inspections and work in partnership with company JHSC
- Direct and train other workers to operate, install, maintain, or repair equipment
- Instruct personnel in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation
- Lead projects including line extensions, new packaging and process improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Maintenance Technician experience in a food manufacturing environment
- 8+ years of experience working in a food manufacturing environment with extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience in managing spare parts inventory
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- FMEA analysis and Food Audit experience is an asset
- Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing preferred
