Job Description
Systemair Tillsonburg facility is the manufacturing center of commercial air handling units (AHU) for North America. Our clean, air-conditioned location along with our family like atmosphere provides a comfortable and friendly work environment where we continue to grow our product range.
We are currently recruiting a Human Resources Generalist to provide HR and administrative support to our growing team. The successful candidate will be a proactive communicator with ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with people and enjoys variety of responsibilities and a fast pace.
Responsibilities
Payroll entries and month end reconciliation
Recruitment and selection (job postings, screening resumes, scheduling and attending interviews)
New employee orientation
Attendance management
Labour tracking data and statistics
Assist with return to work program and WSIB enquiries
Update and maintain employee training records
Assist with employee enquiries related to company policies and benefits
Assist with Health & Safety program
Assist with organization of special events and special projects
Other duties as assigned by HR manager or designate
Skills/Qualifications
Minimum one year in a similar role preferably in manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
High attention to details
Solid math skills
Analytical problem solving skills
Exceptional organizational and planning skills and ability to handle multiple tasks on short notice
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with work experience in data entry
Working knowledge of human resources and related legislation (ESA, OHSA, AODA, Human Rights)
Able to work with minimal supervision
Experience with Ceridian payroll an asset
