As the Sales Team Lead, you will lead your team to meet daily sales and activity goals—and exceed customer expectations. You’re a mentor, a coach! You provide productive feedback and thoughtful guidance to your team.
 
Position Details
  • 2 Fulltime positions available
    • One role is solely out of the Woodstock ON office
    • The other is travelling to our Thedford and Delhi offices, spending 2 days per week at each and the rest of the time in the Woodstock office. Mileage is provided.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with the occasional attendance at networking events some evenings

Duties include, but are not limited to
  • Maintain high levels of motivation, professionalism, skill set discipline and morale through coaching – you will develop and maintain a team with a strong sales culture
  • In cooperation with the Sales Manager, you will set performance goals and objectives, consistently monitor, provide feedback both formal and informal and coach to performance excellence of the sales team
  • Ensure frequent and clear communication with the representatives so they are knowledgeable on current marketing goals and sale strategies via weekly sales meetings
  • Handle customer escalations and utilize escalations as a method to train and develop the team
  • Identify and control customer service issues through problem management, tracking and resolution
  • Ensure interactions are timely with respect to webleads or other leads generated by social media
  • Review, approve and submit sales quotes for the team
  • Lead by example. You’ll be expected to jump in as needed to meet the demands of our customers as well as actively participate in a variety of team projects and initiatives
  • Track and communicate sales reporting for monthly KPIs and commission payouts
  • Analyse queue statistics, and balance overall team workload to ensure on-time execution of team tasks
  • Review, approve and submit team timesheets
  • Interface with the rest of the Execulink organization to ensure that the sales team is positioned to sell to and support customers
To succeed as the Sales Team Lead you will have the following skills
  • Superior leadership skills in managing a team through motivation and encouragement
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to provide oral and written coaching and feedback
  • Superior organization and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills and the ability to analyze results with the purpose of formulating successful actions for improvement
  • Strong, positive and professional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional team player with a friendly outgoing personality
  • Ability to handle stress and difficult situations calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5  years proven ability to motivate and manage a team of successful sales representatives
  • Minimum of 3-5  years proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience handling customer escalations
  • While telecom experience is not required, preference will be given to those applicants who demonstrate recent telecom solution selling experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) within a Windows environment is required
  • Valid Class G license and own transportation is required as one of the positions requires the Team Lead to work in the remote offices (Thedford and Delhi) approximately 80% of the time
