In this position, you'll be responsible for...

• Creating subdivision infrastructure designs and site plans (incl. site grading, servicing, stormwater management);
• Planning, executing, and delivering land development projects throughout Southwestern Ontario;
• Assisting in the growth and expansion of the organization by identifying new business development opportunities, understanding industry and development in the Region of Waterloo, and leading proposal efforts (including completing project scoping and RFP assessments);
• Managing all interactions with clients and internal/external project teams;
• Providing direction to the project team and acting as main point of contact between internal and external project teams;
• Managing project financials including invoicing, progress payment certificates, collecting accounts receivables and managing project budgets;
• The ability to provide mentoring and support to junior and intermediate technical staff is considered a significant asset;

In order to qualify for this position, you'll need...

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Civil Engineer working on projects primarily related to commercial or residential land development, preferably within Southwestern Ontario;
• A P.Eng/membership in good standing with Professional Engineers of Ontario;
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D;
• Some exposure to Project Management, with a desire to advance these skills through training and mentoring;
