ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR
POSITION TITLE: Environmental Educator – 0.5 FTE AND temporary positions
PERMANENT SALARY RANGE: $44,374 - $56,858 per year
TEMPORARY HOURLY RATE: $31.07/hour
DATE OF VACANCY: To be determined

POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Educator develops, delivers and updates curriculum-based age and grade appropriate environmental programs to students in the elementary and secondary level, and maintains resources used in the delivery of such programs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a two year community college diploma in related programs such as Environmental Technician, Fish and Wildlife Technician or Parks and Forest Recreations and a minimum of two years related experience, involving the instruction of children in an outdoor setting is required.
The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons.
