Job Description

 

Responsibilities Include but NOT Limited to:

 

  • Audits First off’s and Last Offs from production lines according to established procedures and verifies documented results.
  • Audit pack line and Shipping as per established standards.
  • Conducts QC tests as required using statistical sampling procedures and documents properly.
  • Collects, maintains and retains samples of all products manufactured.
  • Informs the QE of any variations from standards in a timely manner.
  • Supports resolving quality issues with operations as necessary.
  • Inspects returned goods according to established procedure and dispositions the material based on the inspection. Maintains accurate records.
  • Re-Inspects and disposition substandard product rework. Documents results properly.
  • Monitor quality data and record trends.
  • Conducts process audits to support internal audit schedules. Assist in investigations, deviations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure line equipment is calibrated. Routinely check calibration & Supports Gage Calibrations.
  • Sample collection
  • Product & process non-conformance investigation & follow up
  • Monitoring & verification tasks
  • Data collection and reporting
  • All duties as assigned

  • As QA Professional, you should have strong written communications skills, ability to effectively communicate quality and technical matters

 

 

Technical Knowledge:

 

  • Basic knowledge of metal forming or machining principles and programs
  • 1 – 2 years experience in QA Related capacity
  • Communication: Good written and oral communication
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel
  • Ability to perform measurement in inches & mm

 

 

Other Skills Required:

 

  • A self starter and able to work in a team environment
  • Time management: Efficient organization and prioritization of jobs and able to meet deadlines
  • Good problem - solving skills
  • Must be able to work well with a diverse cross-section of employees

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 2 Years experience Required
  • Required Education – High School Diploma / GED
