Means Transform Products is seeking a  Maintenance Supervisor/Area Leader for our London, Ontario facility.

We are a leader in the advanced metal forming industry and seeking to hire a dynamic and results oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our team to support business growth and new product line launch.

The Ideal Candidate is:

• A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-2 years’ experience in automotive parts manufacturing or coop experience.
• Above average interpersonal skills in order to accomplish company/department objectives
• Self-starter with hands on mindset and able to handle multiple priorities.

Successful candidates for this growth oriented intermediate position will be responsible for the following scope of work:

1. Supervise department employees on as-needed basis.

2. Analyze and determine equipment failures for root causes and recommend solutions.

3. Continue to improve and maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.

4. Lead Plant equipment improvement and maintenance projects.

5. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Project management abilities, including problem solving, time management, planning, and leadership, are essential.

• Must be able to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with plant management, department supervisors and hourly employees on various equipment issues.
• The candidate must display proficiency in computer applications.
