About the Role

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing operational, tactical, and strategic HR support to the Trojan Technologies Operations function. We will rely on you to provide hands-on human resources expertise through deep partnership with the leadership team in Manufacturing Operations– advising and coaching Managers and Associates in best practices throughout talent acquisition and resource planning, Diversity & Inclusion, employee relations, engagement, and more.

 

This Hybrid role is based in London, Ontario with an expectation of regular and, at times, ad hoc travel to the manufacturing facility in Guelph, Ontario. We offer full benefits including a performance-based bonus, medical & dental, and RPP (we match!) and RRSP that start day 1, and more!

 

Day-to-day you will...

  • Support on: Diversity & Inclusion, employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, and retention

  • Advise, influence, and guide all levels of management on HR implications of business strategies and all aspects of people management and leadership. Anticipate the need for change and influence change proactively

  • Lead the annual performance management processes; facilitate calibration and helps drive appropriate differentiation in support of pay for performance environment. Work with managers to pro-actively address performance issues in a timely manner

  • Facilitate talent and Operations organization review discussions with the VP, Operations and the Leadership team; support with proactive guidance on development opportunities for talent and/or appropriate org alignment

  • Deliver process training and facilitate working sessions on a variety of topics guide associates on career pathing, engagement, development, Diversity + Inclusion, etc

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide strategic staffing and recruitment consultation. Assist in identifying, interviewing and selecting candidates for open roles within assigned client groups

  • Leverage multiple HR processes and Danaher Business System tools to holistically address business needs and impact critical metrics. Facilitate process training

 

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

  • BA or BS degree preferred

  • Demonstrated experience as HR Business Partner in the Manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience required

  • Previous success in leadership development, succession planning, organizational development and executive coaching
