A well-established company located in Tillsonburg, Ontario, is in search of their next Lab Assistant! The Lab Assistant is part of a team that reports to the Lab Supervisor and is responsible to adhere to strict standards for product processing. The Lab Assistant will work 4 to 5 days a week with early morning start times. Shifts may be longer than a standard eight hours.

As part of our team, we have 3 primary objectives:

• Ensure excellence in quality of product
• Ensure complete accuracy of records
• Produce the correct quantities of a product as required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lab for production
• Communicate with staff in the barn and in shipping
• Operate lab equipment following accepted procedures
• Keep accurate records of work
• Work at a pace that is compatible with the team
• Clean lab post-production

Requirements and Skills:

• Prefer applicants with a car since it is on a farm
• Must have a least gr. 10 math
• Prefer post secondary education
• 35 hours per week
• Must pay close attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Must have the equivalent of High School Mathematics (Gr. 10)
• Some post-secondary education is preferred
