This company is the leader in their industry. Readily identified as the go-to provider in their product niche - with a market share exceeding 80% in some product lines. This plant services both the Canadian and US markets with local design, manufacturing, and service teams.
This position is the sole payroll practitioner for the Canadian operations, handling payroll for employees in five provinces. For vacations and any other needs that might arise, this position is backed up with three others that can handle both the hourly and salaried payroll functions.
In addition to running hourly and salaried payroll on the internal ERP system this position will be responsible for:
- Records of employment, t4s
- Payroll tax remittance, account entries
- Preparation of RRSP / Pension payments and contributions
- Garnishees and employee’s inquiries
Our client is seeking a candidate with a good understanding of payroll practices and legislation, who over time and with training can learn their payroll systems. Full benefits package (100% company paid, with excellent coverage) plus 4% RRSP with matching contribution, 3 weeks vacation and salary commensurate to experience are offered.
