The Thames Valley District School Board is currently seeking caring and compassionate Elementary Occasional Teachers to commence work in the 2025-2026 school year. Proof of good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers is required as a condition of employment.

  • Copies of practicum reports (new teachers) or Teacher Performance Appraisals (experienced teachers)

Required at the time of interview:
  • One written reference letter (educational and supervisory in nature)
  • Two additional references to be contacted. Please include a current phone number and email address for each. At least one reference must be relevant to education, one may be from paid employment outside of the education sector. Both references must be recent and supervisory in nature.

  • Teachers holding a Certificate of Qualification and Registration from the OCT
  • Teachers holding a Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration from the OCT

Daily Rate of Pay: $278.39 plus 4% vacation pay
