Job Description

Magnet Forensics is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for leading our brand strategy and marketing communications activities. The Marketing Communications Manager will complement an existing team of experienced marketers to build and execute a strategic communications plan that ensures clear, consistent brand messaging and marketing presence in order to build company awareness.

As a well-rounded marketer and project manager, the Marketing Communications Manager will define and deliver the processes and programs required to streamline the marketing and communications function to ensure timely delivery of marketing activities that provide tangible business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ongoing definition and development of the Magnet Forensics brand
  • Manage execution of marketing communications initiatives including product launches, sales collateral, trade shows, customer events, advertising campaigns, media relations, and social media activities.
  • Lead the ongoing development of the company website, compose and manage website content and oversee the overall online customer experience
  • Work closely with our digital forensics and product development teams to translate technical information into product marketing messaging and targeted content marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with the customer acquisition and retention managers to deliver marketing communications programs targeting our customers and prospects that are designed to positively impact the external brand image, communicate the messages of the company, and drive sales results.
  • Serve as the company’s primary relationship holder with key media and blogger contacts
  • Develop and implement media relations strategy that will support and enable company’s strategic business objectives
  • Coach and prepare designated spokespersons for public speaking engagements and effective interactions with media

Qualifications:

  • You have a degree or diploma in Business or Marketing.
  • You have 7+ years of marketing communications experience in B2B or B2G technology sectors
  • Expert level copy writing skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong experience in managing complicated and time sensitive projects
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve
  • Self – starter and driven to succeed
