Job Description
Our client, a North American Leader in the design and manufacturing of high-end, quality machinery has an immediate need for an experienced and responsible Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferably within a manufacturing environment. They are conveniently located within the 401/403 corridor.

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Cash flow
- Weekly – cash flow forecast, actual to forecast comparison
- Propose Canadian cash requirements
- Month end
- Tax entry
- Journal entry control
- Month end Accruals
- Prepaids
- HST return
- Complete/confirm all recs are complete and accurate
- Fixed Asset (schedule, depreciation, capitalization)
- Audit coordination
- Annual
- Year end closing coordination
- Federal/State Tax return information for MNP
- Other
- Ensuring CRA/IRS payments are made in a timely manner
- Internal control development, testing, improvements
- Maintain/Create master data (customers, vendors, banking)
- Validating approval for invoices and Processing payments
- AR review, support collection escalations and bad debt provisions
- AR insurance validate reasonability
- Support Insurance information requests
- Supervision of AP, AR
- SGA – non commercial review
- Budget – Balance Sheet, Cashflow, SGA budget, loading budget to SAP
Qualifications:
- Must have an accounting designation (CMA, CPA, or CA)
