and competitive sales professional with a proven track record.

 
Our client is currently seeking a full-time Junior Territory Sales Representative on an evaluation hire basis. This is a progressive sales role where the right candidate will be building a business to business relationship to secure new orders from Canadian distributor and retail hardware & home improvement companies within the Kitchener to Sarnia to Waterloo territory.

Job Duties:
  • Promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach within an assigned territory
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing/ potential customers and assist them in selecting those products best suited to their needs
  • Complete in store visits and sales presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Create urgency and strong to the point information to close orders or complaints in a timely manner
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing your time
  • Networking, prospecting, and generating account leads
  • Outbound calling with both cold and warm leads
  • Email communication with clients as needed
  • Documenting daily activity with new and existing clients
  • Write weekly sales reports that includes your sales progress and customer relationship and order statuses
  • Stay up to date on current sales and market trends and strategies
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions when needed
Requirements:
  • Completed College Diploma within Business or related is preferred
  • Sales and front line experience is a must
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a sales role that included business to business sales
  • Basic to intermediate level computer skills are required including Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Browser and Customer Management Software
  • Must have superior communication skills
  • High energy and enthusiastic personality while staying professional at all times is essential to succeed in this position
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrate research, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Prompt and reliable
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to hit and exceed targets
  • Willing to work extended hours when required
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is a must
Hours: Full-time (40-44 hours/week); Monday to Friday; Day shift, flexible hours for the right candidate.
 
Compensation: Base salary + commission & bonuses! Also car allowance and cell phone contribution is included.
