HOME OXYGEN DELIVERY/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
ProResp Kitchener
Full-time Permanent Position
 
As a Service Technician with ProResp Kitchener you are a vital representative of our services in the community.  In this role you will assume responsibility for warehousing, shipping and receiving, cleaning and processing of equipment as well as the delivery and maintenance of oxygen equipment and a variety of home health care equipment in the Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas. 
This role includes a rotational on-call responsibility (24 X 7).  Candidates must be willing to undergo training in home oxygen and TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) and be agreeable to participate in applicable background checks as a condition of employment.   
The candidate should possess:
  • Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment (able to lift, push and pull 100 lbs.)
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills with staff and customers
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license, in good standing (G full privilege license of at least 3 years required, at minimum)
  • Excellent geographic knowledge of the Waterloo-Wellington counties
  • Ability to work independently and as team member; ability to multi-task
  • Effective time management skills, flexible and adaptable nature
  • Be willing and able to obtain Vulnerable police screening
 
Considered an asset:
  • Previous work experience in driving/delivery involving customer service
  • Work experience in a physically demanding environment
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training
