Job Description
The Math Society Coffee & Donut Shop at the University of Waterloo is currently hiring a Supervisor of Operations.
Responsibilities include:
- operating POS system and serving customers efficiently
- training and mentoring student employees
- preparing and organizing food displays
- assisting with catering orders involving preparation and delivery
- receiving and stocking merchandise including inventory control and product rotation
- ensuring health and safety standards are met
- displaying professionalism while working independently and alongside fellow employees
Ideal Candidate will possess:
- 1 to 3 years of quick service experience in a supervisory role combined with practical knowledge of training and coaching employees
- exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, paying close attention to detail
- ability to demonstrate initiative and motivate others to maintain quality standards
- outstanding customer service skills
- physical abilities to stand for long periods and to lift up to 30 lbs.
