Talentcor Toronto is currently recruiting for a talented Production Scheduler to join a top commercial consumer products provider in Woodstock, Ontario.

 Accountabilities:

• Identify potential or actual capacity or component bottle-necks.
• Reschedule production orders to reconfirm sales-orders in case of bottlenecks
• Communicate revised delivery dates to order management.
• Develop the weekly/daily Production Schedule, release production orders to the shop floor and track progress.
• Track delivery performance metric weekly and analyze the root causes of issues arising.
• Work with colleagues to develop and implement corrective actions: active team member on planning process improvement projects.
• Work with Production Supervisor to assist in day to day tasks.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of production planning and Supply Chain Management
• Prior experience in a Planning role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience of using Lean Manufacturing tools and processes to drive improvement
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• A motivated team player
