Job Description
Sunrise Warehousing provides 3rd party warehousing and specializes in multi-temperature storage solutions. Our facility is strategically located in Southern Ontario within one hour of US border and a one-day drive to many locations on the eastern seaboard.
Our facility has over 165,000 sq ft of fully racked selection and pushback storage. 32 truck bays and a separate cold receiving area facilitate quick turnaround of even the most sensitive products. Sunrise utilizes a warehouse management system allowing customers to view their inventory in real time.
3PL Sales Position
The 3PL Sales Professional is responsible for driving the business development of Logistics, 3PL, and Warehousing services. The successful candidate will coordinate with the management team to grow new business opportunities, prepare proposals and quotations and secure contracts for Sunrise Warehousing Company Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and connect with potential customers, following up on all sales leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, developing detailed account strategies
- Prepare and deliver client presentations
- Maintain client database with current contact information and activity details
- Compile monthly sales reports and meet annual sales goals and targets
- Communicate effectively with Sales and Customer Service partners
- Negotiate agreement terms and conditions
- Any other job related duties as may be assigned from the General Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years logistics and transportation sales experience
- Strong understanding of 3PL and Warehousing products
- Proven results and record of territory and region growth
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Effective problem solving, organization and time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Highly innovative and proactive
- Able to travel often
