We have an immediate opening in our Engineering Department for a Manager - Manufacturing Engineer Technologist. 

Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Technology or Technician.

Experience: 5+ years manufacturing environment with supervisory experience.

Required Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks, Pro-Nest, MS Office suite, manufacturing knowledge, blueprint reading and creation, some welding knowledge. Experience in sheet metal design and CNC programming would be an asset. Understanding of materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) is required.  Preference given to candidates with experience in metal fabrication and welding environment.

Job Description: Management of Engineering Department – training and staff development, scheduling and assignment of personnel to work according to the demands of manufacturing schedules.  Creating work instructions for manufacturing of product. Modeling of components, design of custom product.
