Responsibilities:

This position will assist in development and implementation of marketing plans and programs for multiple components on one University Campus. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports to the Resident District Manager, with additional support from Regional Marketing Director. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator helps support all critical business initiatives including but not limited to sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality image, improved margins and market share for their unit and Aramark Higher Education.

Key Responsibilities:

 

-        Responsible for the development of strategies to ensure managers have access to customized templates to create consistent campus-wide signage and marketing materials

-        Responsible for implementing and measuring the results of the marketing programs and gaining customer feedback

-        Interact and build strong relationships with all levels of clients and customers, as well as, internal Aramark teams to accomplish goals and objectives working with various levels of management

-        Maintain consistent Pricing, Merchandising and Brand standards -  work with local/ National Franchise partners and Brand managers to ensure consistency and accuracy

-        Develop location events focussing on campus community engagement, maintain monthly calendar of events (local food days, contests, sampling events etc.)

-        Create graphics, posters, brochures and other communication pieces as needed

-        Responsible for all social media channels in regards to campus dining

-        Monitor and respond to customer posts pertaining to issues in a timely manner

-        Interface with students, company, and campus resources to resolve customer requests

-        Develop resourceful solutions that add value for customers

-        Protect the company brand and reputation when interacting on social channels

-        Aid in developing annual business plan

-        Implement Aramark Marketing campaigns and aid in training staff and Managers as needed

-        Other duties as required

 

Qualifications:

-        A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is highly preferred, must have 3 years’ experience in Marketing and or Retail, Food Service

-        A proven ability to increase sales through creative marketing and the ability to measure the impact/ ROI on implementation of programs

-        A demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically
-        Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively.
