Working under the supervision of the Programmer Analyst, the incumbent will design and maintain application software that is secure, responsive and performant. Writing, implementing and managing multiple code bases will require consultation and close work with the roles of Programmer Analyst, Database Administrator and Web Developer on projects and tasks as relevant.

Software Developer - Job Reference #202202-04

Writing, implementing and managing multiple code bases will require consultation and close work with the roles of Programmer Analyst, Database Administrator and Web Developer on projects and tasks as relevant.
The Software Developer will:
- Design and maintain application software utilized by students, staff and faculty adhering to Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Develop, maintain and integrate third-party Application Programming Interface (API) technologies
- Work with various database and database management tools including Mongodb and SQL
- Provide training and support for developed applications as well as forms created using the Laserfiche ecosystem
- Work in team and independent contexts
- Liaise with key project stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):
- College diploma, University degree in Computer Science (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Have at least 2 years of previous relevant experience
- Be proficient in front-end and back-end development in a variety of languages and framework including Vuejs,
- Have familiarity working with online payment processing services such as Stripe (preferred)
- Experience with source code version control management tools including GIT, and Azure Dev Ops - Experience or familiarity with Docker would be a nice bonus
- Experience with Laserfiche forms
- Strong communication skills
