We're looking for a skilled developer that loves the thrill of working with a fast-moving team where they can build great systems that are so good they'll want to brag about them. This role is a critical member of our growing development team, and we’re looking for a talented person who will be responsible for conceiving, planning, and creating new features for our social HR platform.

More specifically, this role is responsible for:

• Planning, building and testing new features
• Developing plugins and integrations between our software and partner products
• Identifying opportunities to improve and enhance our customers’ experience with our software
• Following QA and Deployment processes and best-practices
• Practicing agile development (SCRUM) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

As part of the product team, the ideal candidate must understand the critical business needs of the company, and work with our other developers to design and deliver high availability services to our customers. This role has a focus on new feature design and development and most projects will be based on platform development at the model and controller level.

We deliver a service to our customers, and the right person for this position is an energetic developer that is always looking for opportunities to improve our software both from an architectural perspective as well as from a customer experience perspective. We're looking for someone who will help us build out our social HR platform and grow with us as the company expands.

Technical Requirements:

• B.S. in computer engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years software development experience
• Proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with database driven applications.
• 2+ years experience with Java, C# or C++ 
• Intimate and working understanding of modern web applications from database to browser.
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.
• Skills to debug and understand large Java and SQL code base.
• Desire to delight the customer by taking initiative, responsibility, and ownership of your projects.
• Fundamental awareness of usability
