Job Description

RBC Place London (formerly London Convention Centre) is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team. This position is responsible for supporting RBCPL’s strategic plan by performing a variety of accounts payable and purchasing functions.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Coordinator include issuing, matching, and tracking of purchase orders, including monthly reporting, pre-auditing of invoices, matching invoices with purchase orders and packing slips for cross-verification, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information and pricing. The Accounts Payable Coordinator codes and posts invoices into a software program, as well as processes employee expense reports and credit card statements ensuring that all receipts and backup is accurate and accounted for. This position is also responsible for the cash room – reconciling cash bags, setup of cash bags for cashiers/parking as well as working with the Assistant Financial Controller to create monthly cash deposits.

The successful candidate must have a diploma in Accounting or a Business-related field, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. A minimum 2 years’ previous experience in an accounts payable role preferred. Demonstrated attention to detail, good organization and prioritizing skills are a must. A valid current driver’s license is an asset. The successful candidate has an understanding of advanced computer software systems with a background in computerized accounting. The ability to thrive in a high pressure, exceptional guest experience environment is required. Outstanding public relations and communication skills are essential.
