An expanding manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines has an IMMEDIATE opening for the following full-time permanent position.
Small Mill Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience and/or training in a precision machining environment. Completion of a General Machinist/Tool Maker Apprenticeship would be helpful, but not required. The incumbent has experience machining components to tight tolerances and can work independently. Machinist or Tool Maker papers are preferred but all applications will be considered.

- Read blueprints and/or sketches of part to determine machining to be completed in a timely manner, dimensional specifications, set up and operating requirements;
- Review specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions of finished product;
- Ability to use measuring tools to confirm accurate machining
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must be available for Days, Afternoons and Weekend shifs as well as for overtime as required.
