Our client, a large Canadian financial institution, has engaged Randstad to recruit a Senior Business Analyst with strong functional expertise in financial process improvement.

The incumbent will assist in standardizing, streamlining and simplifying key finance processes and activities and improve our client's decision–making processes.

Specific responsibilities include influencing and championing successful change by designing modifications for improvements to Finance systems or processes, as well as identifying process improvements and operational effectiveness opportunities.

Qualifications:

Relevant business experience supporting projects, collecting and analyzing data, and developing and executing project plans within a financial institution

Experience in designing and implementing process simplification, standardization, and improvement recommendations.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Ability to analyze and document complex business processes, think analytically and demonstrate good problem solving skills.

Strong understanding of the project cycle and project methodologies though project management courses and/or practical business experience.

An accounting designation ( CGA / CMA / CA ) is desirable
