Main Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots and repairs industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Maintains, repairs, installs and tests electrical service installations and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial electrical, mechanical and electronic control systems
• Participates in safety programs and safety training and demonstrates total commitment and compliance with all Company Safety, Food Sanitation and Security policies.
• Uses the Company’s maintenance management system to record and access maintenance related information.

 
Qualifications:
 

• Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate; preferable, dual ticket millwright
• Ability to read, understand, and be capable of applying knowledge of written information, electrical wiring diagrams, OEM manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc. and possess math skills required to perform job requirements
• Current with technical knowledge and licensing requirements
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communications skills
• Good organizational skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
