Job Description
RouteOptix software serves a number of vertical markets within the waste management sector and provides a customer management, routing, mapping, production reporting, billing & AR software including integration to Android devices. This crucial role will provide comprehensive support to users in the day to day operations of several integrated applications. Working in this fast-paced environment will require the successful applicant to exude strong interpersonal skills, strategic problem-solving abilities and accomplished team work skills.
Troubleshooting and triage for various applications/interfaces which may include data fixes, user training and/or minor configuration changes; plan, conduct and support qualification testing of components in all stages of the development or maintenance life cycle; application set-up, configuration, upgrades, fixes and performance management; developing and maintaining written instructional materials (procedures, user help guides, etc) and documentation to facilitate IT operations and user information; provide rotating on-call services.
Must have ability to think outside the box to troubleshoot a wide range of technical and environment related support issues; ability to function as an integral member of a team within strict deadline or time constraints with multiple and sometimes shifting priorities. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Flexibility to work after hours and/or on a weekend very occasionally to support release maintenance of production support activities as requested. Proven ability to perform successfully under limited supervision. Quick learner who can come up in a very short period of time working with intermediate/complex systems and technologies.
