The Western Information Systems Group (WISG) is responsible for the support, maintenance, and development of the Oracle/PeopleSoft Enterprise administrative applications at Western. We work in partnership with multiple business partners across campus to promote and support the development of administrative systems and re-engineering of operational processes.

We are currently looking for all levels of IT professionals to join our team in London, Ontario. In this role, you will:
  • Maintain and support databases for Oracle and a full suite of PeopleSoft ERP applications and Middleware and Web Server products
  • Work collaboratively with management to plan, monitor and evolve these applications
  • Participate in and co-ordinate projects and assessment and selection of new applications
  • Build positive client and peer relationships by delivering high quality solutions to clients
  • Continue to grow through gaining exposure to multiple functional/technical areas

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related fields
  • Experience with relational database management products
  • Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft applications and tools or similar enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of database technologies and tools (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), operating systems (UNIX, Linux, and Windows – Client and Server) and Oracle PeopleSoft infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Backup/Recovery procedures, networking and load balancing
  • Solid understanding of programming languages and scripting
  • Strong communication, team and customer service skills and an ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Some experience in CRM and analytics is a definite asset
