Bilingual Consumer Care Specialist 

Diva International Inc., is in immediate need of a Bilingual Consumer Care Specialist to provide first point of contact with current and potential consumers and external parties, to meet and satisfy general information needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of excellent consumer care experience, supporting and delighting customers.

Working with and supporting the Communications and Education Manager, the Consumer Care Specialist will answer incoming inquiries (email, mail, social media and telephone) within quality standards. The Consumer Care Specialist will use excellent oral and written communication skills to obtain information to assist consumers and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering consumers and external contacts via email, mail, social media platforms and telephone
  • Determine consumer and contact needs through effective questioning and listening
  • Provide information and assistance to consumers using scripted and predetermined support materials
  • Review individual consumer cases providing mediation on behalf of consumer for consideration outside policies and procedures
  • Review escalated contacts with Communications and Education Manager for resolution / assistance
  • Contact various internal departments to clarify information, seek guidance and gather information to respond to consumer inquiries
  • Execute consumer fulfillment requests through contact with appropriate departments
  • Outbound follow up contact and support with consumers and other stakeholders as required
  • Learn and stay current with Consumer Care procedures, product information and online resource tools
  • Other marketing and social media support duties and administrative assignments as assigned
  • Correspond with consumers in both English and French

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual in English and French
  • A post-secondary degree, college diploma or certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a customer care environment
  • Interest in women’s health and the environment and experience working within such industries would be of benefit to this position
  • Excellent communication and computer skills as well as the ability to work with multiple files in a fast-paced, challenging environment are an asset
  • Additional certifications or courses related to customer care, customer service, and support would be a definite asset

Job location: Kitchener, ON, Canada

Compensation includes salary, participation in company benefits plan and company bonus plan.
