Diabetes Health Coach
(32 hours/week, 3 year contract)

• Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian with Certified Diabetes Educator designation (CDE)
• At least 2 years of diabetes-focused clinical experience. 5 or more years experience preferred
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behaviour change strategies
• Understanding of the broader provincial healthcare system and diabetes-related services
• Multilingual is considered an asset
• Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications

Research Assistant -Diabetes Study
(12-24 hours/week, 3 year contract)

• A health care professional with a relevant degree or currently working towards a health professional designation (i.e. student)
• Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant research and clinical experience
• Additional training and/or experience in the delivery of health information to diabetes patients
• Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications

Candidates for this position will have: excellent problem solving skills; excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills; proficient in the use of computers and software applications.
