We are currently recruiting for: IT Manager – London ON

This is an excellent opportunity if you have solid IT experience and a passion for helping a business grow to its potential.  If you are seeking to be part of a caring and growing organization with the full ability of impacting the future success of the business, then read on. Hear Well Be Well is looking to a qualified and experienced IT Administrator to manage the day-to-day and future IT needs of our business.  We are looking for a detail oriented individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills with a proven track record of delivering high quality solutions. Supporting multiple locations, as the IT Administrator you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software, websites and related infrastructure.  You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization; ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, websites and related procedures adhere to organizational values enabling all associates to perform daily tasks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support (troubleshooting) for all hardware and software used by staff (2-5 hours per week)
  • Responsible for delivering training for the usage of technology and related procedures (on an ad hoc basis)
  • Responsible for the oversight, development and maintenance of current website (2-5hours per week)
  • Ensuring the server is well maintained (1-2 hours per month)
  • Helping to develop our office video marketing
 Qualifications and experience/skills required:
  • Post secondary degree/diploma in a computer science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the IT field with a preferred focus on IT Administration
  • Experience in training is an asset
  • Strong technology integration skills
  • Desktop support (hardware setup, software imaging, access administration, etc.)
  • Server support (account maintenance, security, etc.)
  • Android/iPhone device support
  • Peripherals (network printers, expansion cards, IP telephones, etc...)
  • Website development, maintenance and support (HTML, PHP, MySQL)
  • Backup and data retention
  • Remote access connectivity and implementation (Citrix, RDP)
  • Advanced general computer knowledge incl. Desktop Setup and Support, Networking and Troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Macros/VBA
  • Intermediate Web Development Experience including HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP and MySQL
  • Intermediate Project Management experience (PMLC, SDLC)
  • Intermediate Business Analysis skills (use cases, diagrams, etc.)
  • Experience with graphic design software is a definite asset
Other Job Aspects:
  • Work Hours/Week:  Part-time 5-15 hours per week
  • Work Environment:  Office
  • Pay Type:  Hourly – contract work moving to full time
  • Required Travel:  Mostly within London but may need to go to our offices within South Western Ontario
