About the Job
We are currently hiring an Accounting Administrator for the Tirecraft Ontario head office in Burgessville Ontario.
The successful candidate will report to the Controller. The responsibilities will include:
- Receive invoices from suppliers and ensure all purchases are rebilled to the appropriate store location.
- Ensure all accounts payables are input into accounting system accurately.
- Administer accounts receivable, prepare bank deposits and post to accounting system.
- Interact with suppliers, store administrators and other external parties to ensure their questions and concerns relating to a/p, a/r and rebilling are handled in a professional, courteous manner.
- Provide back-up support for Store Administrators in absence.
Qualifications
- Post secondary eduction in business accounting or equivalent experience
- Previous experience handling multiple retail locations
- Solid attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, self motivated
- Ability to interact with a variety of individuals and personalities
- Solid computer skills and accounting/financial knowledge
- Hands on experience with accounting software
