As the Development Manager you:

• Responsible for strategic and functional day to day leadership of your software development team
• Works well in a fast pasted tactical environment and feels comfortable with the day to day chaos but can rise above and can continually push the big picture strategic vision
• Contributor to continuous improvement and excellence of the software organization in terms of processes, standards, and practices, unit test, code reviews, continuous integration and metrics
• The Development Manager is a key member of the engineering leadership team and the Business unit leadership team
• You have a big picture vision but do not mind getting your hands dirty helping teams get projects moving and unstuck
• Improve usage and efficacy of offshore resources

What you have:

• A deep understanding of how great software is built and how to keep projects moving forward
• Familiar with a wide variety of web based stacks and approaches such as responsive design, HTML5, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, jQuery, myBatis and KendoUI to name a few
