Our client , a leader in the education industry is looking for a Governance Expert to join their project team for a contract assignment
The Governance Expert will be part of a team consisting of a business analyst, Governance expert and Security analyst who will work with the Data Architect to complete Phase 1 of the project ( the implementation roadmap and high-level time line; providing the fundamental groundwork for Phase 2 of , the implementation of a modern enterprise architecture for end-to-end data management and analytics.)

3. Project Objectives

The Data Architect will lead the Project Design Phase to develop the detailed design and implementation roadmap and high-level timeline for the development and implementation ; including:
• High level modern enterprise architecture for end-to-end data management and analytics,

• Management and governance operating model,

• Reporting and analytics operation model,

• Risk and security model,

• Organizational roles and responsibilities for a sustainable business model, and

• Financial model.

2) Governance

a) Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide implementation roadmap for this project and future research initiatives; ensuring alignment to governance and security policies.

b) Provide input for future governance, integration and compliance of IT policies and standards

Governance Role Requirements
• 10+ years in industry working within private and public sector,

• Strong analytical skills and superior interpersonal communication ability to interact with colleagues and senior stakeholders,

• Expert knowledge of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO/IEC 38500 and ITIL,

• Experience in governance of large complex business applications and/or service operations.

• Professional certifications from a recognized governance organization such as ITIL, CGEIT, CGRC, CRISC or PMI-RMP
