Our Client in the Kitchener-Waterloo Area who design and manufacture automated systems for the automotive industry are looking for a General Machinist to join their production team. A successful applicant will be ambitious, have a great work ethic and show initiative. This is a great opportunity for someone to start applying their industry knowledge and grow in a permanent role.
Looking for the right applicant to start immediately!
- Permanent opportunity in a bright clean work environment
- Competitive pay: $20-23/hr depending on experience
- Straight day shift
- Great benefit program eligible after 1 day!
- Contributions towards RRSP
- Potential for company profit sharing
- Working for a reputable company that does not layoff
- Minimum 5 years experience in a machinist role
- Experience in the set-up, operation and programming of Lathes, boring and vertical mills
- Great attention to detail and able to work to close tolerances
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
- Able to use various inspection equipment
- 2-3 recent workplace references
- Must have your own transportation
