Job Description
Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers is focused exclusively on personal injury litigation. We have built a reputation for excellence in all areas of litigation and we have a strong commitment to exceptional client services.
We have an opening for a law clerk or legal assistant with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in personal injury work. Plaintiff personal injury clerking is preferred. The successful applicant must be able to manage a practice for senior level lawyers. This includes the ability to speak to clients directly, schedule necessary events, request and obtain undertakings, provide clients with information regarding accident benefits, maintain and organize file material and follow instructions provided by lawyers. Applicants must hold a College diploma from a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
Successful applicants will be able to multi-task and set priorities in a fast paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail are required for this position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primafact is essential and a working knowledge of PCLaw would be an asset. Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure is required.
