Job Description
Cohen Highley LLP is currently recruiting a Legal Assistant for our Kitchener office.
We require a highly motivated individual to work within our organization. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this very busy working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks (although the position is not limited to those listed below)
· Answering Phones
· Scheduling Appointments
· Preparing Legal Documents
· Preparing Correspondence
· Maintaining a bring forward system
· Opening and Closing files
· Billings
· General Office Duties
Experience in real estate as well as wills/estates and/or corporate work would be considered an asset.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Law Clerk designation preferred. Candidates need knowledge of Windows 7, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
A competitive salary and compensation package will be offered to the right candidate.
