We currently have an immediate opening for a:
 
Quality Engineer
 
You will work with Production, New Product Development Team, and APQP Team dedicated to quality planning activities.

Candidates must possess:
  • Diploma/Degree from College or University, or
  • one to two years related experience and/or training, or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • ASQ, CQT, CQA, CQE are all considered assets
  • The successful candidate must possess experience with plastics/injection molding

Skills and Abilities:
  • Developing and initiating standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
  • Devise sampling procedures and designs, and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Conduct Gage Studies and report results.
  • Maintain customer required documentation related to APQP, PPAP and IMDS activities on new and existing projects.
  • Establishes and maintains the program to evaluate precision and accuracy of Inspection Measuring and Test Equipment (IMTE) and analytical related equipment and facilities.
  • Maintains customer required documentation related to APQP and PPAP activities on all existing and new projects.
  • Review and approve supplier PPAP.
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
  • Review customer websites daily for updates.
  • Controls document and data requirements under the TS management system.
  • Work directly with the customer and submit countermeasure responses to customer.
  • Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
  • Complies and writes training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Participate in root cause analysis and verify effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
  • Support Production Coordinator to maintain and update PFMEA's, MQC's and PQCT's.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to demonstrate team commitment through work ventures.
