Our client in Waterloo is looking to add some Assemblers and production operators to their growing team.
Client is an up and coming electronic company who deal with state of the art equipment. They are looking for people with experience, however they are more so focused on attitude and drive - looking for someone who is willing to apply themselves and offer valuable input to the production team. Essentially, they are looking for a go-getter!
This is a contract-to-hire job that will result in the candidate being hired on permanently by the company.
Responsibilities include: Assembly of electrical and mechanical sub systems, installing and verifying electrical/mechanical components, wiring, soldering, troubleshooting, and other duties as assigned.
What's in it for you?
- Straight Day Shift 9am-5pm
- Wage is $15/hr and get paid weekly
- Opportunity for permanent employment with the company

What's required of you?
- Previous experience in assembly of electrical and mechanical components and systems
- Previous soldering experience
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Must be driven, willing to go above and beyond the minimum and have a good attitude
- Excellent hand-eye co-ordination, manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Understanding of electronics, circuits, and troubleshooting skills are assets
- 2-3 recent work references
