Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Receive incoming calls from clients and enter data in system
• Arrange shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating delivery requirements; placing and expediting orders
• Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate, and delivery time
• Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions
• Communicates with drivers in regards to preventative maintenance, breakdown on the road, etc
• Protects organization reputation by keeping pricing, promotion, purchase order information confidential
   
   

 Job Qualifications:
 

• MUST be Bilingual (English and French)
• 1+ years experience in a dispatching role
• Excellent customer service dealing with inbound calls
• Good data-entry skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Mechanically inclined is an asset
• Highschool Diploma or GED
