Job Description

Talentcor Guelph is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for our client in the Construction Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Oversee all project planning, organization, management and installations for Ontario;
·         Ensure profitability for each project;
·         Deliver projects within management expectations, making sure the work schedule is respected;
·         Address daily operational issues;
·         Develop and maintain strong partnerships with qualified Sub-Contractors and suppliers;
·         Source and develop additional Sub-Contractors where capacity dictates;
·         Communicates with Sales Staff on project status;
·         Maintains detailed Project Files using software system;
·         Submit timely reports;
·         Reviews contract drawings and specifications;
·         Place material orders with Head Office;
·         Maintains and revises CAD drawings as required;
·         Performs Site visits prior to installation and evaluates site conditions are to spec;
·         Make sure we deliver the best possible quality products within expected deadlines;
·         Maintains Budget vs. Actual Project tracking
 
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
·          Strong leadership;
·          Must have 5+ years Operations Experience;
·          Ability to act in a decisive manner, using good judgment;
·          Ability to work with a team;
·          Experience and background in construction industries is an asset;
·          Excellent communication, negotiation and follow up skills;
·          Ability to effectively plan and execute projects;
·          Effective time management skills;
·          Must have some form of formal Project Management training;
·          Organizational skills;
·          Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
·          Ability to transact in an environment of stress and tension at repetitive times;
·          Ability to build and develop effective relationships with clients and suppliers;
·          Experience with budget and cost analysis;
·          Computer skills – Word, Excel, etc.
HOURS OF WORK
Day shift hours flexible but must available after hours for Sub-Contractor inquiries.
COMPENSATION
