Express is recruiting for an experienced Cost Accountant for a manufacturing client in Woodstock, ON area. Reporting directly to the CFO; this is a NEW position that will support with variance analysis, inventory valuation and support.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare costing/operational reports; maintain budgets
• Help understand absorption rates; ROI of capital projects
• Participate in Cycle count and physical stock/inventory
• Backup to the payroll
• Other duties as required by the CFO

Qualification:

• 5 plus years of cost accounting experience from manufacturing environment
• Post secondary education; Designation or working towards
• Advanced MS Excel skills; Previous experience with ERP system
• Attention to detail; quick learner with strong initiative
