Quality Specialist - reporting to the Operations Manager
Prerequisites
Hiring Criteria: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalency; No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted; Pass company medical

We currently have the following position available:
Quality Specialist - reporting to the Operations Manager
Prerequisites
Hiring Criteria: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalency; No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted; Pass company medical
- Valid driver’s licence
- College or university education an asset with preference given to Quality Engineer certificate
- 2-5 years’ quality assurance experience in the automotive industry
- Trained in internal auditing
- Experience with TS16949 and ISO 14001
- Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction
- Available to work all shifts as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop, adhere and manage all quality assurance activities for Final Coatings Inc.
- Monitor and maintain the FCI Quality Management System, including document control
- Be a member of the APQP process cross functional team
- Liaise will all customers with regards to product quality and customer satisfaction
- Completion of all corrective actions and submitting of such to customers
- Monitor and report on all paint line processes
- Manage implementation of customer engineering changes
- Report all activities against company policies/procedures
- Adherence to Health and Safety regulations
- Complete daily audits of the FCI System (Process, Layered and 5S) and product reporting
- Coordinate and submit PPAP’s to customers
- Assist in the developing of auditing schedules and complete scheduled internal audits
- Assist and track all customer complaints (develop trend chart for such)
- Develop and maintain the FCI quality training process
- Assist with scrap process and procedures on a daily basis
- Develop daily product reporting
- Attend daily production/quality meetings
