The Customer Care Manager is responsible to lead, support and train the Customer Care Department to provide outstanding customer service with both external and internal customers. To exemplify the company vision and delight customers by continuously improving customer service performance. This position is situated in our Brantford, Ontario location.

The Customer Care Manager is responsible to lead, support and train the Customer Care Department to provide outstanding customer service with both external and internal customers. To exemplify the company vision and delight customers by continuously improving customer service performance. This position is situated in our Brantford, Ontario location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all order entry, credit , invoicing functions to ensure all completed on a timely basis
- Update and write all SOP’s for Customer Care and ensure guidelines are followed.
- Pricing updates for products including new items (retail and food service) with proper authorization.
- Represent Customer Care for Quality Assurance recalls (exercises) and related reporting.
- Complete all credits for Solis customers
- Provide AFD revenue reporting.
- Responsible for insurance certificate updates and keeping on hand.
- Analyze freight patterns and work with transportation company to get best value
- Captain of month end ownership for customer care (planning and executing month end functions on time)
- Complete weekly clearance and obsolete (hold) items list and action list.
- Responsible for new customer set up for Solis, Sunrise and NOP.
- Process all sample requests for delivery including Tradeshows.
- CIT representative – weekly meetings – active solution focused participant.
- Back up to all customer care functions along with reception/courier duties as required.
Qualifications
- Inventory, billing, invoicing and shipping systems in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Experience solving and resolving internal and external customer issues and complaints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the food industry / manufacturing is preferred
- Superior computer skills with experience in MS Word, MS Excel and MRP software
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
- Good numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Flexible attitude
- Ability to cope under pressure, with competing priorities
